Having a full service pharmacy on site is important. Because medications can be needed for your pet's health, we want to make sure that it is as easy as possible for your pet to get the medication it needs. There would be no use in prescribing something if you weren't going to be able to obtain it. Vets also double as pet pharmacists so they can prescribe the medication and get it to your pet as soon as possible. This makes the whole process that much easier for you as an owner and it allows your pet to heal quickly.

The prices for the medicines that we offer in our pharmacy rival or are competitive with most other pharmacies, including on-line pharmacies.

In order to have your pet's prescription refilled, we suggest that you call ahead. That way, you won't have to wait. If you give us an hour or more, we'll have it waiting for you, all set to go, as soon as you walk in the door.

We keep a close watch on pets and their medications. Some medications do require periodic blood tests. We will be keeping you informed if those are needed.

Academy Animal Hospital offers a wide range of services to protect the health and well-being of your pet. Because we limit our services to cats and dogs, we are experts with these particular animals.
